Christmas Goodie Bags

Hi Everyone,

It's so nice to say I'M ON VACATION! Yes, off work for our Christmas Break for 2 whole weeks :). I absolutely love this time of year...spending time with my hubby and kids, presents, celebrating the true meaning of season, Jesus!, and aww sleeping in hehe.

So, on to today's picture. I made these for our staff at school. Some little Snowman goodie bags. Just a small token of appreciation. Sorry for the bad quality of the picture, but I wanted to show you before handing them all out.
The Snowman head and had were created using Stampin' Up! Bigz Die. The googly eyes really added an extra touch of cuteness to these snowmen! Enjoy!

U R Amazing- Mojo Monday #311

Hi Everyone!
Hope your weekend was great! I'm back today with another Mojo Monday sketch.

Isn't this a great card to give to someone special? It's plain, simple and to the point. U R Amazing! Both sentiments were stamped on white card stock. I used some designer paper behind the sentiments but something that would not take away from the boldness of it. I really like this stamp set, they are so versatile. Since the 'Amazing' stamp took most of the card page, it didn't need much embellishment. Visit Mojo Monday 311 to see many great ideas on this sketch.

Hope you like today's card :)

Mojo Monday 310...Although Posted on Sunday!

Hi Everyone!

I really liked this simple sketch from this week over at Mojo Monday. Here's my card for this week's challenge!

At first I thought the background was too busy with those swirls, but I ended up really liking how everything just came together. Most of the supplies used were from the "Laughing Lola" kit from Close To My Heart. The yellow, purple, and black colors really go well together.

Hope you liked today's card!

All the paper, stamps, ink and embellishments are from CTMH (except the white card stock). If you like these items, you can purchase from me through My CTMH Website!

Christmas Card

Hi everyone!

I just have to say one thing... I LOVE Christmas!!! And it's just around the corner. I love the family gatherings, the food, the shopping, the presents and the memories. Although I love Christmas I have to get myself in the mood to make Christmas cards. It seems like every year I make a ton of cards planning on mailing them, then end up not mailing them for some reason! Am I the only one!?

Anyways, if you have any tips, please share and thank you in advance!

On to the card... I used Stampin' Up! Top Note die cut. Then I embossed it with the mistletoe and added red Stickles for the berries. Embossing adds so much detail to a card, it's great. Sponged the die cut some, added the ribbon and done! Oh yes and distressed the card stock layer under the die cut which adds more depth to the card as well. That's it!

Thanks for visiting!

PPA 138- Beautiful Butterflies

Hi All! Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July! I enjoyed my day off with my kids :) Too bad I had to go back to work the next day (Thursday). Was weird to have a day off mid week!

With today's card I'm joining Pals Paper Art's Color Challenge (PPA) over at palspaperarts.com. I love the color combo and this is what I came up with. I'm very happy with the result! Hope I'm not the only one haha!
Using the stamp set Beautiful Butterflies from Stampin'Up! I created my own designer paper using the three colors from the PPA's color challenge. The sentiment is from the Much Appreciated stamp set also from SU! I've had that set for a while and I love it.

Hope you like it and head over to PPA to check other wonderful cards!

Distress Ink and Copics

Hi All,
Today I have a card using Copic markers and Distress Inks for the first time! I have lots of practice to do :) Copics are wonderful. I could not believe how great they blend. And there's so much you can do with Distress Inks!
So for today's card I used a Stampin' Up flower stamp to do the coloring with Copics. Then I cut around it with a circle cutter. Behind the flower I cut a 3.5 x 4.5 in of white card stock and then used distress inks... this is another awesome thing! What I did was rubbed some ink on a craft sheet , sprayed some water and laid the piece of card stock right on top. Let air dry or use a heat gun to speed the drying process. I saw this technique at kwernerdesign.com. Kristina has amazing work!
Hope you like it! I'm planning on giving away some candy VERY soon so please visit my blog again soon!!
